Black Templar Vow and 6th!

So I had to paint up some Black Templars for the Black Templar Crusade Expansion!

With them done! I do feel the Black Templar vibe again! I present you my Crusade expansion:

All the neophytes I had left,  5 assault terminators, 5 Sword Brethren (the golden head power armor marines) and a big bunch of shooty Templars. Cause I fear shooting will be their thing! Also have Land Raider to be painted! But if you scroll down and watch the pictures you will read about my other idea's! I also painted the last 2 rhino's for my Nurgle Angels Army +  the drop pod for the Furiso Dreadnought! Lets hope that they will preform good in battle! In 2 weeks! Belgian Grand Open! I painted with my girlfriend this weekend! Finally a full weekend together again! She painted half the punch of tyranids from Space  Hulk! I allready painted my half! After there done Its time for the Terminators!

I  do have fate in Games Workshop making 6th better! I'm looking forward to the Allies! Man I'm gonna team up with Grey Knights as Black Templar! Nurgle Angels will be joined by their friends in the fluff the Chaos Wolves!  So yes I'm really excited about the new book! I do hope that my Local Store has it friday! Well I ordered the gamers edition! For the bag and the dice! As it looks now for 6th there will be a lot things to keep in mind! For example there is a rumor that it will allways be night fight! What the hell men? Always night fight?  So everything will have to roll to see if it can hit! This means that necrons with Imotekh are out! Also Death Company will be very interesting if the rumours are right! 2attacks extra if you charge! So let's see: standard they get 2 attacks on the profile then extra for close combat weapons. They if you charge! You get 2 attacks because you are rage! So this means 5 attacks on the charge!! First I will see how the other things are going to be like Hull Points, Over watch and all! But who knows maybe they will get a Land Raider ride!?

All things for this weekend! If my Store gets my gamers edition!! Lets pray!

How I feel about 6th

Firebelly! And much more

So again a weekend of painting! I watched Grimm will I did it. Halfway the season now!

But let's talk some minis now! I painted all my neophytes from the Black Templar chapter. I vowed 8 but painted 10! All right me!

They still need to be based. Will do this with whole the squad! They have to be done before 23june. For this means done before the 20th. Cause I'm not going to Graspop Metal Meeting! Like the name says a metal festival in Dessel. Going to see some great bands like Sabaton! My inspiration for a deepstriking Blood Angels Army!

I also (finally) painted Lord Draigo, he was my first finecast model.

And I must say I'm impressed! I'm thinking about conversions you could much easier now then with the metal models! I also got the brilliant idea of painting a Ogre Firebelly! Yes, a Fantasy model! I wanted to show the model to my girlfriend so I googled the name. And I can up to this: a Firebelly Toad!

Bazinga! I got an awesome idea! So I painted his skin like this! He is still a Work In progress! So don't shoot me!

Now it's time to paint my Black Templars up! I vowed 12! And I'm painting 14 dudes! 

And I have to finish 5 Assault Terminators! Ooh and I also finally painted and based my Meltagunner and power fist dude!

So at our local game store we did a vote for what other games we would play except Games Workshop. The price increase is for me not so much a problem => only the land raider + stormraven is a big suprise! Well lets to be honest I allmost fell of my chair!

Warmachine army example

At the moment Warmachine/Hordes got the most vote + Dust Warfare. My personal vote was Warmachine/ Horders + Malifaux and everything else. Basiclly because in Belgium we got tournaments for Warmachine and Malifaux! Wich some of my far live by friends play. So it would be fun to see them! Also not much models needed for both! So there you have it I may be goign to other wargame! Never the less will 40K still be my favorite because 6th edition is just around the corner! And Chaos Space Marines being the first 6th edition codex! I'm psyked!
