Descent of Angels list

So a few days ago I posted my Descent of Angels list on Bolter And Chainsword This to see the reaction of peoples. Like I thought would happen a lot of people react on the Death Company I my list! But after rethinking a few tactics I will play like this:

HQ: Dante 225pts
(with his Sanguiary guys)

Elites: Sanguiary Priest x 2

(following the Assault squads)

Troops:

Power weapon, power fist, jump pack

(there just awesome and I will have them deepstrike)

10 men Assault squad x2
Sergant got power fist , 2x melta
235 pts x 2 => 470pts
(20marines who will split up in 4 squads and stay close of the priest so this means lots of kill fun)

Sanguairy Guard 5x
1x Infernus Pistol
210pts
(together with dante they will pew pew some hq of the enemy also a deepstriking unit with dante!)

Fast Attack:
Vanguard Squad
Sergant get a glaive of encramine
1 x thunderhammer and stormshield
1 x  a pair of Lighting claws
2 x Storm shield with bolt pistol
1x Power weapon
300pts
(deepstriking unit)
total of 1750 pts

Assault Squad Wip

So in order to get my Tale of 40gamers done this time on time. I allready built myself an assault squad of 10men. Have to add up some more chaos stuff. markings maybe and some green stuff icons?
I also have to drill holes for the magnets. The Jump packs need to my more chaos like. Gonna add some chaos vehicle decoration on them. Like hooks and stuff. Will be fun! Also some grenades on the dudes. Tonight it is resin base night!

Nurgle has gifted the middle one plague so he will allways be ready to shoot and kill.

Black Templar Rumours

So there a few rumours up about the Black Templars:

So what do we think the next codexes are going to be?

Necron of course, then Templar, obviously, but what else is coming down the pipes? 6th edition in a few years? Personally I dont think we need a new rulebook so soon but ive heard the rumor mill.

...BT will be sooner. They already have models and artwork for the boxes and so forth. They will be before Sisters I can guarantee it.

...Seeing the models and artwork at the factory is pretty solid.

And a response via Harry:

Sculpts have been around for about 18 months. (and well worth a bit of saliva )

I honestly don't know the order they will appear ...

.... but if it helps, the order that I heard about them was: Grey Knights, Sisters, Black Templar.

Whilst I expect them to appear in this order .... This was a couple of years ago so anything could have happened in the development stages before release order was set in stone.

(Lord Castellan is a braver man than I ... I certainly would not be risking my todger on the table with a guarantee of anything!)

 

So this means the Templare are up for Q1 of 2012. Necrons in augustus. I doubt we will see them in 2011. Maybe if we are lucky?  Most likey it will be something like this:

June - Dark Eldar / Summer of flyers
July - WHFB Storm of Magic
August - Necrons
September - LOTR
October - WHFB codex
November - Tau?
December - nothing like normal

My Codex thoughts : we will get a Chaplian dreadnought. Maybe something like furiso dreadnought? A named Emperor champion, I bet a castellan or marshall who unlock sword brethren to be troops instead of elites. And yeah that would mean Templar wing! An epic Land raider maybe? A new Rhino? Assault Rhino maybe?
Box releases: 5 men box with all the upgrades for sword brethren and normal marines. So yeah that would mean lots of boxs... A bit like the Death Company / Grey Knight Squad box. Terminator for templars only? Land Raider special, dreadnought,...

Thats my thought about the codex and the releases. Can't wait to have the codex in my hands and to make a new list!

Nurgle Angels: Death Company last 2

So last night I did a battle against tyranids. Darn those nids! Next time go a bit cheese on my list.
Had to make a count as models.
So I ran a chaplian, my death company without the powerfist dude and a 5 man squad of normal assault marines. It was against Tyranids and I must say it was a fun fight. My first 5 assault marines where bye bye in the first round and the Death company Survived thanks to feel no pain.

Leasson 1: Sanguiary Priest with the assault marines! The Death company did a good job against the little slashy 2 attacks! Combat was fun and the reroll to hit is fun! Allways to kill some people with that. The chappy died because his warrior did a rending on him. To bad.
It was a short fight but I enjoyed it! After that match I heard I have till 1 May to finish my Death Company. So here are the last 2 of my Death Company:

7 Death company + Jumpacks
Powerfist, Thunderhammer and Power Weapon
Total of 315points. April month done!

Nurgle Angels: Death Company

So here are my first 5 Death Company Finished and ready to kick some loyal!
I painted  190points. I misscalculated last night. 5 x 35pts + 15pts power weapon =>190. Thats 60points short. Damn myselfè Hope you like them!

So I have been slacking a lot with my blog and painting stuff!
Start reading 'Fulgrim' of the Horus Heresy, level 85 on the shaman and dungeons with the egg gang. Mage is level 62 so thats chill. Made my squad of Death Company! Pictures below:

Girlfriend painting

So like mentioned in a few post back my girlfriend also paints! She is likes the Orks of 40k. So she kinda paints my orks from Black reach. Here is the Warboss she painted and his nobz squad. + An extra Tyranid from the Space Hulk set! It looks good the painting on the tyranid something unique. The Orks are purple because the fluff beside the army is => some orks are born purple. But because they are rare you don't see them much.
That's the fluff she came up with. The clan is called the Blood Blade Clan. BBC!
