So yesterday we decided to do a tournament with our Local Game Store the Albion. We had a great time. Surprise! Not the grey knights won but the orcs!!

Schedule 2012: my 2 cents

So Bell Of Lost Souls posted a idea of the Schedule 2012. And it got me thinking.

2012 Schedule
June: Flyers (you knew this already) Really flyers? For all the armies? Cause If they look like the sketches... Well then I don't like them allready Flyer sketches here! On the other hand look at the last of page of the white dwarf: Orcs, Necrons and Space marines? Maybe we will see them.

July : Warhammer 40,000 6th Edition Rulebook (and not a moment too soon) Why do people say this? Not a moment too soon? The Internet folks think grey knights are overpowered and all. I played Draigo and I'm not impressed! 

August: Chaos Space Marines (fast on the heels of 6th, large minis release right at launch) Chaos now?  Right after the 6th edi? Maybe... Prepare that these are the new kids on the block.

September: Warhammer 40,000 6th Boxed Set (CSM vs Dark Angels (a minority are holding out for Eldar))  Dark Angels vs CSM please! Lots of conversion stuff for me. I think it will be Eldar tough.

October: Warriors of Chaos (Warhammer Fantasy, and explaining last year's "2012 is the year of Chaos" meme) This would be reason to start for me Fantasy! New units of Chaos, awesome looking models and all plastic/ finecast! 

November: Hobbit (get ready for it) Hobbit and the mysterybox game
December: Deals and Holiday bundles. Meh! I suspect an Chaos Marine Army deal then.
2013: Tau and Eldar (Tau are said to be early year, first out of the gate) Tau? Eldar? I think we will first see whats in the starter kit.

Enigmas:
a) Where O where are the Dark Angels? Squeezed in somewhere, White Dwarf codex, or punted down the schedule? Who knows where they Are!? The image on the spine will be complete around december. So they will be in january! No xenos for january!
b) Q4 2012 is said to have BloodBowl in there somewhere as this year's "Mystery Box" I know this also the year BloodBowl gets 25. So yeah Blood Bowl will be out this year.

With this I stop and keep dreaming of cool terminator army! I hope 6th Edition will be there soon! So I can upgrade my Nurgle Angels / Black Templars to it and play some more!  We will just have to wait! And man I hate waiting!!

Painting time!

So I did alot of Painting the las few weeks. First to be done before a tournament, then just for fun a few extra models for my army. I'm thinking of a terminator army for my summer project. On the other hand I think this would be smart, since the 6th is gonna be released so now I'm holding myself in to buy some terminator stuff!

11th Conflict!

So its been a while since I last posted something. I got a good excus! I painted 2 predators, Honour guard and Terminator Libarian for the tournament It was yesterday and I was still painting till 22h30...

War is Magic!

I had a great time! 11th  conflict! Only minus was not much terrain, I had fun battles. Meet some nice people. Like Jerre from bolter and chainsword with is: Skyrars Dark Wolves. I also played against the artist from Wobbly Model Syndrome. He played Tyranids! Was a fun game, he had some missfortune with his Tyrgons. All three run one inch in the same turn... That's gonna hurt. Also his three Tervigons stopped in first turn with producing termagaunts. Lucky for me? Yeah indeed! I killed all three Tervigon and one Trygon. It was minor Lose cause we both drawed the objective.

Second battle was against Leaf Blower... At first I taught that sounds like alot of stuff. And indeed it was! Much and much firepower... I didn't got totally whiped out. I did shot his 2 vendetta's out of the air first turn! Booh yeah! And I destroyed one vehicle. I did start my first turn very stupid. I should have charged him head on! 18inch move forward and pop smoke. No I tried to a side ways move. I'll remember it for next time! We will meet again Leafblower!

The third and last battle was against normal Space Marines, well yes indeed normal space marine! Again a fun battle. 2 predators, one vindicator, Land Raider, 3 rhino's and 2 multimelta bikers. I wish I went for the easy kill points first... It was minor lose again. Cause I went into my opponent his zone with my HQ so I scored 5 points + not everything was killed again! Hooray for mech armies! I got 45 of the 52. And got 15/20 for my painting! 'm glad with that.

And for the first time I didn't take much pictures of my battles, was maybe slacking sometimes and nervous the other time. So most of the pictures are from other people there armies and from friends of the Albion Team. Tomorrow I will try and take some pictures from my honour guard, predators and Terminator Librian!
